australian_football_cup.jpg - 0 Bytes2008 saw the third Australian Football International Cup take place in Melbourne, Australia. After 11 nations competed in both 2002 and 2005, the third International Cup is looking to expand and reflect the current growth in International Football over the past decade. The Cup was played over the period 27 August 2008 until 05 September 2008, in Melbourne and at Warrnambool in Country Victoria

Papua New Guinea has been invited to send their “Mosquitoes” team to this, the third AFL International Cup and part of the 150th celebrations of the AFL. After finishing Runners- Up in the last two they are eager to make it “third time Lucky”
